Airport Transfer

When you arrive in Ireland, you will be arriving into one of our international airports - Dublin Airport, Cork Airport or Shannon Airport. All three airports are served by bus, taxi and car hire services.   

Alternatively, if you are spending you first night in a nearby hotel, many provide complimentary shuttle bus services to and from the airport. Check with your hotel at the time of booking to confirm.

Onwards bus and rail connections from nearby cities are available from services provided by Irish Rail, Bus Éireann and private coach companies to locations around Ireland.

In addition, onward flights  to some regional airports are available from Aer Lingus and Ryanair.  

Dublin Airport

Dublin Airport is is served by a large number of buses, coaches and taxis all allowing you to get to and from the airport with ease. The airport is located approximately 10 km north of Dublin city centre, where additional onward rail and bus services are available.

By Bus

Dublin Airport is accessible by over 700 buses and coaches daily. From Dublin airport, you can reach many areas in and around Dublin, as well as various towns and cities across Ireland. You can buy a bus ticket when you arrive or you can book tickets online.

By Taxi

Taxis are available from the forecourts directly outside Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Passengers should follow Taxi signage to the designated taxi ranks. A taxi dispatcher is available at either taxi rank if you require any further information or assistance.

Cork Airport

Cork Airport is served by bus and coach companies as well as taxis all allowing you to get to and from the airport with ease.  The airport is located just 8 kilometres from Cork City Centre, where you can get additional onwards connections by bus and rail.

By Bus

Cork Airport is accessible by buses and coaches daily. From Cork Airport, you can reach Cork City Centre where you can connect with additional towns and cities all across Ireland.

By Taxi

There is a Taxi rank located outside the Terminal building. The cost from Cork Airport to the City Centre and the central Bus and Railway stations is typically between €20.00 and €25.00.

Shannon Airport

Shannon Airport is served by bus companies and an airport cab service. The airport, which provides access to the Shannon/Limerick region and west of Ireland, is located about 22km from Ennis and 24km from Limerick city, where additional onward bus and rail connections are available.

Shannon Airport  is accessible by buses and coaches daily. From the airport, you can reach Ennis town and Limerick city, where you can connect with additional towns and cities across Ireland.

By Airport Cab

The airport cab desk, located in the arrivals hall, can organise an airport cab for you. It is open for all arriving flights. Alternatively, you can book in advance by contacting the desk directly. Typical fares are €15 to Shannon town, €35-€45 to Ennis town and to Limerick city centre and €45-€60 to Castletroy, Limerick.
