Quinnipiac University and Dublin City University in Ireland have reached a five-year agreement that will allow for an exchange of students, faculty and staff from both institutions.
"The partnership with Dublin City University will build on the important existing academic and cultural exchanges between Quinnipiac University and various institutions in Ireland," said Mark Thompson, executive vice president and provost at Quinnipiac. "Much like Quinnipiac University, Dublin City University is progressive and dynamic. This new relationship will foster our taking advantage of clear synergies that will be mutually enriching for both university communities."
The universities also agreed to collaborate on research projects and to develop an annual bilateral seminar series. Quinnipiac has signed similar agreements with Ireland's Maynooth University and University College Cork.
