- GMIT offers Ireland’s only Joint International Master of Science in Marine Biodiversity & Conversation Studies (run in conjunction with Ghent University, Belgium and supported by the Erasmus + Programme). GMIT also offers a standalone MSc in Applied Marine Conservation. Both programmes are delivered by the Department of Natural Sciences and the internationally recognised Marine & Freshwater Research Centre (MFRC) at GMIT.
