UCD Centre for Study Abroad can facilitate your Faculty-led Study Tour in our stimulating and supportive campus environment. At UCD, your group can avail of world class academic and supporting facilities, in addition to easy access to Dublin city centre and the Irish countryside. UCD can offer you the flexibility to customize a programme that meets the specific needs of your faculty-led group.

At the development stage, the UCD Centre for Study Abroad has the experience and skill to assist your University with the design of a superior Study Tour Programme that will achieve the learning objectives of your group. Excellent classroom and computing facilities are provided and visiting groups can also avail of lecturers from any of UCD's five colleges (Arts & Celtic Studies, Human Sciences; Business & Law, Life Sciences; Engineering)

A comprehensive Orientation Programme is provided for your group on arrival at the UCD Campus. Your students on-site logistical needs are addressed including safety & security, accommodation and transport. An extensive Social and Cultural Programme is offered to enhance your groups experience of the Irish culture. A range of company site visits can be arranged to give your students practical insights into the Irish business environment.

Estimated Study Tour Fees (based on group of 20 students)

On-Site Administration, Logistics & Orientation

2 days at UCD:   €500

2 weeks at UCD: €2,500

4 weeks at UCD: €3,500

Classroom Hire: €50 per hour

Guest Lectures: €100 per hour

Company Site Visits: €250 administration fee

Sample of Cultural Activities:

Welcome/Farewell Dinner: €20 - €40 per person

Day trips to Glenalough, Belfast etc (lunch incl) €500 - €700 per group 

Abbey Theatre €15 per person

Irish Dancing (Irish Cultural Centre) €15 per person

On-campus accommodation (available June - August) : €40 per person per night
