Our vision is to be at the forefront of teaching, research and innovation at the convergence of the arts, technology and enterprise, and to contribute to Ireland's development as a creative knowledge economy. Our graduates will be well-placed to contribute to economic, social and cultural development.

 

Organised in three Schools, Business and Humanities, Creative Arts and School and Creative Technologies. IADT is also home to the internationally recognised National Film School.

IADT also offers a range of extra-mural courses in its Summer and Autumn Schools. These include portfolio preparation courses that are of particular relevance to prospective students of programmes in creative arts and media.

 IADT students enjoy excellent library, computing, studio and other specialist facilities. The Digital Media Incubation Centre, opened in March 2007, houses start-up companies and provide opportunities for graduate entrepreneurs.

The growing number of clubs and societies make campus life even more colourful, catering for all interests from rugby, soccer, martial arts and GAA to music, film, and acting.
