Why study at Uversity?
Welcome to a radical new approach to arts education
Ireland, with its rich cultural heritage, inspiring natural landscape, thriving arts sector and flair for creative innovation, is the natural home for Uversity - a new concept in arts education.
What makes Uversity different is that our programmes are designed in collaboration with premier academic and cultural institutions across the island of Ireland. This enables us to curate a range of programmes – from our MA in Creative Process to our immersive short programmes – that provide a vivid combination of academic engagement and creative practice.
A global first, Uversity is a unique collaboration of twenty-four leading educators in Ireland including ten universities, seven Institutes of Technology and seven independent colleges across the island of Ireland. This unique alliance results in creative arts programmes designed to stimulate and develop creative thinking and practice.
MA IN CREATIVE PROCESS: KNOW YOUR MIND. CREATE YOUR PROGRAMME
The twelve-month Master’s programme empowers you to curate your education. You choose elective modules from our educational partners and complete a final project that combines academic study and artistic practice. You can study in different institutions but will meet your Uversity classmates for a Core Module that combines academic study and immersive cultural experiences in various locations around Ireland. Throughout your journey, you will be supported by a creative mentor, selected from our panel of practising artists to align with your creative practice.
This 90 ECTS Master’s degree is awarded by the National University of Ireland. Tuition fees are €17,000 and a limited number of scholarships are available for international students.
